Director's note
"The Joy of a Home" is a portrait of a daily life of my grandparents. It is an open window to their home, the place where they keep their memories and where they enjoy the autumn of their lives. My intention when making this film was to display this small world , located in the city of Oporto, where we can still find traces of rurality and a kind of a life that is not so common in the cities. This is a film about the people who guided me during the first steps of my life and the house where I lived during my childhood.
