Mário Gajo de Carvalho has 4 university diplomas in Arts and Cinema. As a director, his best-known film is The Millionaires, which premiered and awarded at IndieLisboa, 2011; the film has toured 24 countries. His last film The Place that Remains had the world premiere as part of the 10th Berlin Directors Lounge, Contemporary Art and Media, 2014, and was screened at 10 film festivals.


Pedro Sousa has a degree in cinema from ESTC (national conservatory) majoring in photography and has made many film and advertising as director of photography, among other positions in image. Worked with directors such as Luís Alves de Matos, Marco Martins and João Canijo. "Silences of a gesture" is his first film as a director and it was shown in film festivals of several countries.
